To hunt or harvest game in Alaska, you are required to have the corresponding licenses and tags to do so. And, it is your responsibility to stay up to date on annual regulations and how this may affect you. Depending on the game and gender you are hunting, you may need the presence of a hunting guide or additional education to remain compliant. Hunting and trapping licenses are available for online purchase through the Alaska Department of Fish & Game as well as locking-tags, waterfowl stamps, and more.Â
